Magdalena Fernandez is a Chicago based fine artist. She is a 2022 graduate from the American Academy of Art with her BFA specializing in watercolor. Her work draws inspiration from hyper-realism and an overall attention to detail. She intends for her art to evoke a sense of wonder, fun, and light-heartedness.

Although her focus consists of traditional art, she also produces some digital pieces. Magdalena plans to pursue her Masters in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The program would incorporate knowledge of science and art, while providing visual communication of complex anatomical subjects.
